What the request form collects
When you send a request, the form sends what you entered:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The street address or nearest intersection, and the area
- The property type, the service you need, the driveway or lot size and the timing
- Anything you write in the message box
Name, phone, email, property type and service are required; the rest is optional. The form also sends the address of the page it was on and the name of this site. The automation service also records technical details of each request, such as the IP address and browser it came from.
The form has one more field that people do not see. Automated spam programs tend to fill it in, and a request with that hidden field filled in is rejected and never emailed.
Why it is collected and who sees it
Your details are used to reply to your request and to arrange the work you asked about. The form sends them to an automation service, n8n, that London SEO Pro runs. It screens the request for spam and emails it to the owner of London SEO Pro, who runs London Snow Removal and reads each request. The email is delivered to a Gmail inbox, so Google's email service stores it.
To arrange the work, the details needed to quote and do the job, such as your name, contact details, the address and what needs clearing, are shared with the local snow clearing operator who quotes and does the work.
Apart from the services named on this page, your details are shared only with the operator who quotes and does the work, and they are not shared with anyone for marketing.
Analytics on this site
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It reports totals: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, their country, and their type of browser and device. Cloudflare says it does this without cookies or local storage and without fingerprinting individual visitors.
This site also uses Google Analytics 4 to see how pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends Google the pages you view, how you arrived and your general location and device. When a request is sent, the site tells Google Analytics that a request was sent, with the service, property type and area you chose, but not your name, phone number, email address or street address.
The fonts are stored on this site, so pages make no requests to Google Fonts. There are no advertising cookies, social media buttons, embedded maps or videos. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub logs the IP address of visitors for security purposes. Visits to www.londonsnowremoval.ca pass through Cloudflare, which redirects them to this site.
Google, GitHub, Cloudflare and the server that runs the automation service may store or process this information outside Canada.
How long details are kept
No fixed period has been set. Requests are kept, in that inbox and in the automation service's records, only as long as they are needed to reply, to arrange the work and to keep business records.
Asking to see, correct or delete your details
To see what London Snow Removal holds about you, to correct it or to have it deleted, send the form on the contact page with the same name, email address and phone number you used before. Choose Other as the property type and Not sure yet as the service, and say in the message what you want done. If London Snow Removal has emailed you, you can reply to that email instead.
The about page explains who runs London Snow Removal and how a request is handled.
